Robert T. Schulte
Robert T. Schulte is a member of the Florida Bar and is licensed to practice in all state courts of Florida. Mr. Schulte received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2009 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 2006.
Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Mr. Schulte worked in a statewide insurance defense practice in the Tampa Bay area. Since 2012 he has almost exclusively represented Florida’s insurers in homeowners and commercial insurance matters relating to sinkhole claims, water claims, windstorm claims, hail claims, collapse claims, fire claims, theft claims, business interruption claims, extra expense claims, assignment of benefits issues, misrepresentations in insurance applications, and more. He has assisted carriers with providing coverage opinions, sinkhole neutral evaluations, and conducted examinations under oath. His litigation experience includes numerous fact witness depositions, expert witness depositions, corporate representative depositions, hearings, dispositive motions, jury trials through jury verdict, and post-trial litigation of attorney’s fees and appeals. Mr. Schulte has evaluated numerous expert witnesses across the state in insurance related matters, including building construction, geology, geotechnical engineering, and structural engineer. He is approved by the Florida Department of Financial Services as an instructor for insurance related Continuing Education (CE) course.
