Scarborough Attorneys Secures Ruling Enforcing AOB Reform In Polk County

In a ruling of interest to those following trends at the trial court level concerning attorney fee claims following the Florida legislature's recent passage of AOB reform, Scarborough Attorneys Partner Bob Schulte recently secured a ruling in Polk County for our client Family Security Insurance Company striking the fee claims of an AOB Vendor plaintiff pursuant to s. 627.428 and ruling that s. 627.7152 (the "AOB Reform law") controls claims for attorney fees in a lawsuit filed by the Plaintiff on July 10, 2019.
